Flat Roofs

New roofs and repairs

If you’ve noticed the materials from your existing fitting are flapping in the wind because they’ve come loose, or you’re suffering from physical water leaks, you can depend on our flat roof repairs. We can supply and install both bituminous and single-ply membrane systems, which are both cost-effective and long lasting solutions to keep your structure insulated and watertight. We will take care of the roof’s problem for you so that you don’t need to worry about it again.

Single Ply

Single ply is a 21st century solution for flat roofing, using mechanically fixed, adhered and ballasted solutions to meet your needs. The system we use is called Armourplan, which is a polyester-reinforced PVC membrane. Manufactured in the UK, Armourplan is suitable for use on a wide range of roofing applications, including refurbishment, new build as well as more specialist installations such as simulated metal roofs. The once-piece application offers a reliable choice with secure seem welding quality, sleek finish and high UV resistance, providing less of an opportunity for leaks.

Our felt roofing concept and systems are designed to achieve one purpose and that is flat roof waterproofing which is dependable, durable and cost effective. Advanced felt technology incorporating non-woven polyester fleece provides non-tear qualities and modified bitumens impart excellent elasticity. Backed up by a comprehensive guarantee you have the added confidence of a quality, built-to-last installation.

Liquid Plastics

For a flexible and versatile waterproofing solution, we offer Liquid Plastics. This is a single component, applied cold like paint using brushes and rollers, that cures to form a seamless, durable and weather resistant waterproofing solution for exposed roof areas. Due to its application process, Liquid Plastic is ideal for a wide variety of roofs, walls and other roofing parts such as box gutters of any shape, curvature and texture. The cost-effective solution is ideal for waterproofing ageing roofs and is easily moulded around detailed areas to provide an excellent watertight seal.

The membrane incorporates technology that allows the material to use atmospheric moisture to trigger the curing process. This means that the waterproofing membranes are capable of curing in a wide range of conditions, making them ideal for use in the unpredictable UK climate. The base coat is reinforced with glass fibre, which is easily moulded around detailed areas and is covered with a UV resistant top coat. As a result of this there are no requirements for any heat or naked flame on the roof.

Lead roofs

Lead roofing is a traditional roofing method which has been used in the industry for hundreds of years, and is therefore proven to be extremely reliable. We are trained specialist lead roof installers, giving you piece of mind that your repair or replacement will be completed correctly to the highest quality and finish and in accordance with The British Lead Sheet Associations, Code of Best Practice.
